Ontario Lieutenant Governor David Onley presented Wilma McNeill with the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Pin during ceremonies at Sarnia City Hall Wednesday officially recognizing the city’s 100th birthday.

The award recognizes Ontario volunteers whose record of service to their community goes above and beyond the norm.

The recognition took Wilma McNeill by surprise.

The award was established in 1998 by the Honourable Hilary M. Weston.
