Accessibility Initiative To Be Launched

According to the Chamber of Commerce, businesses that can’t accommodate people with disabilities are missing out on $40-billion worth of purchasing power.
Sarnia’s May 7 birthday celebrations include the launch of a new initiative called “Accessibility Sarnia Lambton: Breaking Barriers to Business”.
Accessibility Co-ordinator Dale Mosely says the Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Sarnia Lambton and the city have come together for this initiative.
It will also connect business owners to seminars and workshops on accessibility, and to other business owners that have already improved their accessibility.
Mosely says a major announcement will also be made during the launch of this initiative at the Lambton Event centre May 7 with Lt-Gov. David Onley present.
