Memories Of A Lifetime

Sarnia’s Wes Harding is reflecting on his experience at the Boston Marathon earlier this week, one year after explosions at the finish line killed three people and injured 260.

Harding says there was heightened security present at Monday’s race with more than 36,000 runners taking part in the 26 mi marathon.

Harding says he ran the race with Team Hoyt, a father that pushes his disabled son in road races. He says it was the Hoyt’s 32nd and final Boston Marathon.

Other local runners at the Boston Marathon included Devin Gibson, Michael Gibson, Fred Unternahrer, Ian Campbell, Juanita Lew, David Gilchrist, Courtney Brohart, Frank Clement and David Caraher.
