Nutrition Program Gets Funding Boost

Lambton’s Student Nutrition Program has received a $10,000 boost.

The donation from Noelle’s Gift Foundation, will provide fruits and vegetables to nearly 6,700 students at Lambton’s 37 student nutrition programs.

Retired school principal Kevin Cannon is a member of Noelle’s Gift Committee, he says a healthy start to the day really prepares children for a full day of learning.

The foundation was set up last year in memory of Sarnia teacher 27-year-old Noelle Paquette.

Over $200,000 has been raised since. Donations to also help buy clothing, footwear and classroom supplies.
