Busy Afternoon For Sarnia Council
Sarnia council’s agenda is packed this afternoon.
Council meets in camera at 2:30 to discuss the Bayside Centre then at 3pm to discuss the RBC Centre and Sarnia’s Arena Management Strategy.
In a special meeting a 3:30, Finance Director Brian McKay will present 2013 year-end operating results.
In council’s regular meeting at 4, Lambton College will unveil preliminary renovation plans for the second ice pad at Sarnia’s RBC Centre.
The college is interested in purchasing the facility should the city decide to close it as part of the arena management strategy.
The Clearwater Dog Park Committee is seeking approval for a one year pilot project.
The group wants to install a dog park in Clearwater Park, adjacent to the ball diamonds and tennis courts.
And council will be asked to award a million dollar tender for East St. reconstruction.
