Sarnia-Lambton real estate sales were down 15 per cent last month, compared to March 2013.
129 properties sold with a dollar volume of $27.9-million, down 1 per cent from $28.2-million last year.
Real Estate Board President Don Guerette says the market has struggled through the harsh winter, with year-to-date sales down 8 per cent
He expects activity to pick up this month.
Guerette says March listings were down 11 percent at 250, compared to 281 in 2013.
The highest selling price range last month was $100,000 to $200,000 with 73 homes selling.
The average sale price so far this year is just over $213,000 compared to $197,000 at this time last year.
