Scheduling Concerns Being Addressed

Community concerns have been raised about this summer’s playing schedule at Norm Perry Park.
An email to Blackburn News claims Sarnia FC will get first crack at using the field and availability won’t be guaranteed for other user groups.
Sarnia Parks and Recreation Director Ian Smith says the city has simply asked the soccer team for its potential use. The city continues to try and accommodate all groups to maximize the use of the field.
Sarnia FC provided the city with $250,000 of the approximately $1-million cost.
