Friday was a day of highs and lows for one local business.

Following a fire around 3pm Friday, Blackwater Coffee & Tea Company won Small Business of the Year at the 25th annual Outstanding Business Achievement Awards.

Other awards handed out at Sarnia’s Imperial Theatre included Vidal Street Industrial Park for Large Business of the Year and Not for Profit went to One Tomato.

The Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce presented a total of 14 awards during the event.
