Tundra Swans ArriveMarch 20, 2014 6:41am
They’re a bit later than normal, but about 200 tundra swans have finally arrived near the Lambton Heritage Museum in Lambton Shores.
Museum Event Co-ordinator Gwen Watson says they’ll be here for a few weeks to feed before migrating to the Canadian Arctic.
Watson says the arrival of the swans is pretty late compared to previous years. In the past, they’ve arrived as early as the first week in February.
The Return of the Swans event continues until March 30.
