Hiawatha Submits Race Date Plan

Hiawatha Horse Park owner Jim Henderson has submitted a business plan for racing at the Sarnia track this summer.
It includes details on at least 20 race dates. He would like at least 30.
The town of Lakeshore has already applied for 33 dates while Dresden is looking to host 13 races.
The Ontario Racing Commission must approve the business plans. Henderson says it’s difficult to foresee what will happen because 90% of wagering revenues will go to the Toronto area.
