Harsh Winter Hits County Budget

It’s expected Lambton County’s Winter Control Budget will be overspent by $825,000 this year.

Infrastructure General Manager Jim Kutyba says they started 24/7 snow removal coverage in the middle of December and haven’t stopped since.

Council directed staff to fund the majority of the shortfall through reserves.
