Mother And Son Charged In Drug Bust

Sarnia Police Services Vice Branch officers seized over $5,000 worth of drugs from a central Sarnia home last night.

Constable Les Jones says officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 200-block of Durand St. around 10:30pm

Jones says officers seized 114 hydromorphone, 34 morphine and 120 codeine tablets as well as $1,700 in cash.

A 47-year-old woman and her 19-year-old son are both charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Both are being held for bail hearings.
