Animal Cruelty Protest

March 19, 2014 1:55pm
About 20 people gathered outside Sarnia courthouse Wednesday.
It’s the second time a group has rallied in support of harsher penalties for animal cruelty offenders.
Signs read, “we are the voice for the voiceless, and justice for Joe”.
“Joe” is the name given to a cat that was found in Bright’s Grove in early February, suffering from 17 wounds in his head inflicted by a pellet gun.
Organizer Scott Spinx.
Two Sarnia men aged 19 and 20, are facing animal cruelty charges. The protest was scheduled to coincide with their latest court appearances.
