The PJHL's Walkerton Capitals have a new bench boss.
Following the recent departure of Brad Tiley and Brad Tichbourne from the bench, the Caps have announced they have hired Chad Haggitt as Head Coach for the remainder of this season. Haggitt joins the team from the WOAA Senior League, where he was part of the Clinton Radars coaching staff that won four straight titles. The first three titles, Haggitt served as Assistant Coach before taking over as bench boss for the fourth. Haggitt previously coached the Wingham Ironmen of the PJHL, winning Coach of the Year in 2011.
Haggitt will bring over 22 years of coaching experience to the Capital's bench. His first game will be January 28, when Walkerton host Wingham.
