Baseball Ontario made a trip to Kincardine, and presented the Cardinals 11U team with 3 awards.
The awards include: 2021 Rep Team Of The Year, 2021 Baseball Ontario REP Pitcher of the Year 13U (Tyler Bauman), and 2021 Baseball Ontario Volunteer of the Year (Steve Travale, also a coach for the 2021 18U Championship Team).
The Cardinals 11U team had a perfect 7-0 record through their abbreviated regular season where they outscored their opponents 84-29.
The Baseball Ontario recognition tops off a winning season - three Kincardine baseball teams won All-Ontario Championships this year:11U D Provincial Champion Kincardine Cardinals, 18U "C" Division Provincial Champions (Kincardine Cardinals), and Senior AA Provincial Champion Kincardine Cubs.
The three Championship teams, Tyler Bauman, and Steve Travale will be recognized at the Municipality of Kincardine's December 6 Council meeting.
