The Toronto Blue Jays starting rotation is a big question mark heading into spring training.
Rob Longley covers the Jays for the Toronto Sun and joins MWO Sports on CKNX tonight.
"When you consider you've spent $80 million on Ryu and now $150 million on George Springer, it matters not if you don't have a rotation," said Longley. "It matters not if you can't get the first 15 out those 27 outs each night," said Longley.
And there is a lot of discussion on which corner Vlad Guerrero Jr. will end up. Longley said they had a Zoom conference with management this week.
"They basically said we're going to give him a shot at third, he's going to play some third base in spring training and he's going to play some first base in spring training," said Longley. "But I think if management is being honest and forthright at this point, they do not see him as a third baseman."
MWO Sports on CKNX starts after the 6 p.m. news Friday.
