Jays earn first win of shortened season

The Toronto Blue Jays were able to pick a win in their first game of a shortened season thanks to some timely hitting in a 6-4 win in Tampa Bay.

The Jays scored three runs in the top of the fourth to take the lead.

Then in the fifth, Cavan Biggio hit a three run shot to break it open.

Hyun Jin Ryu pitched four and two-thirds innings allowing three runs four hits including a home run. He struck out four and walked three.

The Jays are back in Tampa Bay for game two of the series Saturday with a 3:10 p.m first pitch.
