Winterhawks looking for new head coach

The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks are searching for a new head coach.

The club accepted the resignation of Matt Turcotte as head coach earlier this week, after Turcotte helmed the bench for the WOAA Senior Hockey club for 2 seasons. Turcotte first took over the head coaching role for the Winterhawks in the 2018-19 season, and led them to a 30-15-1 record over the course of those 2 years.

Saugeen Shores are now in the process of finding a new bench boss.

"We would like to thank Turk for his dedication and passion over the past two seasons," said President Gord Lamont. "Coaching at this level is extremely time consuming and Turk put everything he had into coaching our team."
