Local pitcher signs with Centennial College

A local pitcher is joining Centennial College's new baseball program.

Saugeen Shores pitcher and minor baseball graduate Jack Middleton has signed on to play his 3rd year of college ball with the new Centennial College Colts program. Middleton spent the last two years at George Brown College while taking general business.

Middleton was convinced to join the new team by his coach Ben Anderson, who took the job at Centennial after a stint at George Brown. Middleton says Anderson moving to coach the first year Colts baseball team was a major factor. Centennial will compete in the Ontario Collegiate Athletics Association in their debut season.
