The Kitchener Rangers have fired Head Coach Jay McKee.
The team announced on Monday that McKee had been relieved of his duties and that General Manager Mike McKenize would be stepping in as interim head coach.
McKee leaves as the fifth winningest coach in Rangers history, amassing 120 wins in his three-plus years as head coach, after serving as an associate coach in 2015.
The Rangers have lost 10 of their last 12 games and sit last in the OHL's Western Conference.
