Listowel's Corey Conners battled his way through the second round of the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black on Long Island, NY.
He had two bogeys on the front nine and two more on the back nine that negated his two birdies on the day. Conners shot a 2-over-par-72 in the second round leaving him at 4-under for the tournament. The projected cut late Friday afternoon was 3-under.
Statistically he was in the top ten when it came to driving accuracy and greens in regulation, but he was averaging two putts per green.
