Cyclones' power play a whirlwind in Kitchener

Holdyn Lansink scored the winner while Chayse Herrfort and Luke Israel both scored twice in Listowel's 6-2 win over Kitchener.

Trent Verbeek scored the other Listowel goal.

The Cyclones now have a 3-1 lead over the Dutchmen in the GOJHL Midwest Semi-Final.

Like the previous three games, Game 4 was a chippy affair Wednesday night with scrums after nearly every whistle.

While there only two penalties in the first period, there were 15 minor penalties through the second and third periods. There was also an abuse of official misconduct slapped onto a Kitchener player as Tyler Harrison was shown the gate late in the 3rd.

Listowel would end up going 3-for-10 on the power play. Kitchener was 1-for-7.

It was also the first time in the playoffs that Listowel goalie Evan Morrison let in more than one goal in the game. He let in two this game in another rock solid effort in between the pipes.

Game 5 of the series is Friday night at 7:30 in Listowel and will be featured on Cherrey Buslines OHA Hockey.
