Cooperstown to add Halladay's accomplishments in July

Former Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay's legacy wll be added to Cooperstown in July.

He died in a plane crash in November of 2017 at the age of 40.

He was the Jays' first round pick in the 1995 MLB amateur draft and in a 16-year career with Toronto and Philadelphia, he won 203 games and had a .659 winning percentage in his career. That is 19th best in the league history.

Halladay also pitched a perfect game in the 2010 season and won two Cy Young awards.

In June of 2017, Halladay was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St. Marys.

Also being inducted into Cooperstown this year, former Yankees closer Mariano Rivera, Edgar Martinez and Mike Mussina.
