Walton Raceway Promises A Busy 2018 Season

The Walton Raceway is back.    Owner and President Brett Lee announced Tuesday they're back where they were a couple of years ago as the final round of the Pro National Series for the Grand National Championships for amateurs.

"We had a little lag there, but we're back", says Lee. "We're the final round of the Pro National Series for the Grand National Championships for the amateurs, so we're back to what we've always been. So that's important but we're also expanding with our mud boggs and our challenge courses and just trying to open up different possibilities."

Lee says they're also launching the summer with this weekend's May 24 big truck event. It's a mud bogg and they'll also have ATV demos and people can try out off-road vehicles and camp there as well.

He adds they also have their challenge course where they're teaching elementary and high school age kids about the outdoors and building some confidence.

Complete details and schedules for the events planned this summer can be found on the Walton Raceway web site.
