Listowel Cyclones Changes

The Listowel Cyclones are changing their hockey operations structure.

Head Coach Jason Brooks is adding Director of Hockey Operations to his role.

Assistant Coach Jesse Cole will be the new GM while former GM Wayne Long will now be Assistant GM. Long has been GM for four years and has been commuting from Owen Sound for three of those years.

Todd Norman will be back as an Assistant Coach for the Cyclones and will also carry the title of Assistant GM.

Brooks, Cole and Norman all played high levels of junior hockey along with University and/or at the pro-level.

The 2016-2017 team is already starting to take shape.

The club has recently signed former Wingham Ironman Mitch Deelstra as well as Ben Derrough, and Chet Phillips. Brendan Cederberg, a Listowel Minor Hockey graduate, has also signed.

The new players join a list of returnees including Keaton Willis, Blake Nichol and Holden Lansink.
