The Marlins and Sting are Golden

A big day for local ball clubs yesterday.

The Palmerston Marlins won the Eastern Canadian Bantam Girls Championship in Quebec. The won the final game 4-2 against La Salle.

Elsewhere, the Belmore Peewee Sting won the U14 Boys Eastern Canadian Softball Championships in Newfoundland. They beat Napanee 7-1 for the gold.
