Listowel's Corey Conners has won Down Under.
The 23-year-old amateur golfer finished the Lake Macquarie Championship with a score of 17-under, which was good enough to take top spot in the Australian tournament.
Coners shot three consecutive scores of 68 in the final three rounds to eventually finish four strokes ahead of the rest of the pack.
The Listowel native will now head to the city of Mascot to play in the Australian Amateur.
