Barons Battle Ironmen in Mildmay

The Hanover Barons and Wingham Ironmen will be playing a game in Mildmay this weekend.
The Barons are playing host at Mildmay-Carrick Arena on Saturday at 8:30pm. It’s part of the Barons’ Pink in the Rink initiative to help raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Five players from Hanover and seven players from Wingham are from the South Bruce area. And it’s another instance where Western Junior C teams travel to neutral sites to give players from those communities a chance to play in their home rink. Later this season, Goderich will host Wingham in Lucknow on Sunday, December the 21st.
The Hanover Barons will wear pink jerseys, and hold a live and silent auction after Saturday night’s game. Opening face-off is at 8:30pm.
