Listowel Golfer Corey Conners shot a two under 69 at the World Amateur Golf Championships in Japan.
Conners was 4 under before a pair of Bogeys on 2 of his last 3 holes.
He sits at 8 under for the tournament while Canada is 16 under, good enough for 5th place.
Coming into today, Canada had shared the lead after the opening round. Conners had a 6-under round of 66.
