Wingham Ironmen Signings Include Brother Of Former Star

As one Armstrong goes out, another comes in. The Wingham Ironmen signed 4 more players on the long weekend.
One of those players is Adam Armstrong, brother of Aaron Armstrong. Older brother Aaron is likely a recognized name in local junior hockey, with 367 points in 144 games over his career.
Now it is Adam’s turn, and the Ironmen say it is his talent, not last name that got him on the team. He has hands that run in the family and the ability to put up points of his own.
Another youngster signed was Bailey Poeles, the forward comes through Wingham minor hockey.
Wingham’s Josh Stewart returns to the team after playing for The Ironmen two years ago. The final signing is Travis Bender, a former Ironmen AP who also spent a season with the Mitchell Hawks.
