Local Players Drafted to the NHL

A few more local hockey stars are closer to playing in the big league.

Listowel native and Kingston Frontenac’s defensemen Roland McKeown was drafted in the second round of the NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. He went 50th overall.

Blyth’s Alex Peters was drafted by the Dallas Stars. Peters went 75th overall.

Stratford’s Jacob Middleton went in the seventh round, 210th overall. The defensemen was drafted by the Los Angels Kings.
