Goderich Group Waits For Jr. “C” Approval

Organizers wanting to revive Junior “C” hockey in Goderich still waiting word from the OHA.
Over the past few months, a group has been working to put a team on the ice. Doug Cruickshank has been working as the groups PR person. He says they have volunteers, sponsors and the the minor hockey association in Goderich supporting them.
“Let’s work with this and talk to Goderich Minor Hockey about an ice schedule shift. Get the little guys in the rink to watch us and get the older players looking down the road and say this is where I can get to in short order,” says Cruickshank.
Cruickshank says if they don’t hear today from the OHA about a Junior “C” club it should be early next week.
