The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound sold 237 units in April 2023 which is a sharp decline of nearly 17 per cent from April of 2022.
So far this year 721 units changed hands, which is down just over 23 per cent from a year ago.
The overall The MLS® Home Price Index composite benchmark price was $541,600 in April 2023, a big reduction of 16 per cent compared to April 2022.
The number of new listings was down modestly by 2.7 per cent from April 2022. There were 435 new residential listings in April 2023.
Active listings were 36.1 per cent above the five-year average and 16.8 per cent below the 10-year average for the month of April.
