West Grey is looking for feedback from residents on its proposed official plan update.
In a statement released Wednesday, officials said the plan will provide a long-term strategy for managing growth and development within Durham and Neustadt through to 2046.
The plan will address issues like where housing, employment, agricultural, industrial, and commercial uses should be and what services are needed to support growth including sewers, parks and roads.
A draft of the official plan is already on the West Grey municipal website. Written comments will be accepted until February 9. There is a public meeting scheduled for February 16 at 9 a.m. Staff will present their report and also the public comments. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting in person or on Zoom. The Zoom login details will be available online on February 10.
