A 37-year-old woman from Mount Forest is facing serious charges after allegedly resisting a police officer and being in possession of methamphetamine.
Wellington County OPP said that on January 3rd, they received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a business on Mount Forest Drive. Officers reportedly arrived on scene around 12:30 a.m. and spoke with the driver of the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, a woman has been accused of failing to comply with demands, resisting a police officer, and possessing methamphetamine.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in a Guelph court at a later date.
