Libro donates to Northern Huron Connection Centre

Libro Credit Union announced a $20 thousand dollar donation, through their Annual Community Grant program in support of the United Way Perth Huron's Northern Huron Connection Centre project in Wingham.

“We're really excited that Libro is investing $20,000 in the Northern Huron Connection Centre for the on-going capital campaign. What this is going to allow us to do is to make sure that the renovations are right for this project, which we're going to be opening in the next number of months.” said United Way Executive Director, Ryan Erb.

Erb added donations like the one from Libro often encourage other groups or people to donate to a project.

“The Connection Centre will be helping people who are experiencing homelessness, or are challenged with low income or other issues in their lives. But also, and perhaps more importantly, as the word suggests, Connection, we will be offering connections to local social services to help people make the next step in their journey.”
