Defibrillator donated to Ainsdale Golf Course

Members of the South Bruce OPP gathered for a donation ceremony of a life saving defibrillator to the Ainsdale Golf Course.

The Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund made defibrillator donation #143 to the Ainsdale Golf Course in the name of Ontario Provincial Police Constable Craig Campbell, who was killed in the Kincardine area on August 3, 1985, while on duty. The donation was attended by Craig's brothers Dave and Marc, and Craig's widow Leslie Parsons.

The golf course held a putting competition to raise funds for the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund, which donates life saving defibrillators to groups and organizations in the name of fallen first responders and military personnel.

The ceremony was also attended by Ainsdale Golf Course owners Taylor and Charles Candler, their children Lexi and Wyatt, and serving members of the South Bruce OPP and Bruce County Paramedics.

Making the presentation was the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund founder and serving OPP Sergeant Patrick Armstrong.

The defibrillator will be placed at an accessible location on the Golf Course grounds, along with a dedication plaque in the name of Craig Campbell.
