Chesley Emergency Department closures

The Emergency Department at the hospital in Chesley will be temporarily closed at times this weekend.
The closures will be in effect between 5 p.m. tonight to 7 a.m tomorrow morning and again from 5 p.m. on Saturday to 7 a.m. on Sunday.
It’s due to the unexpected nursing staff absences.
Ambulance by-pass will begin at 1700 to divert patients to the nearest open emergency department.
