130 units planned for Tiverton subdivision

Kincardine approved the zoning by-law amendment to allow for the construction of a 130 unit subdivision in Tiverton.

In a release yesterday, officials say the the 10.77 hectare property is on the northwest side of the village and will include lots for 23 single-detached homes, 22 semi-detached homes, 85 townhouses, a storm water management pond, and two open space blocks.

The development has the support of both the Bruce County planning department and municipal staff.

The plan now goes to Bruce County Council for approval.
