County seeking input on trails and transportation plan

Bruce County wants public input regarding their Recreational Trails and Active Transportation Master Plan.

A release on the county website says that Bruce County "has launched the Active Transportation and Recreational Trails Master Plan Survey and encourages the public and all stakeholders to provide input on how the future of trails is shaped in the County." For the month of August, members of the public can offer their thoughts on the plan, which will focus on things like cycling trails, recreational walking trails and more. The Recreational Trails and Active Transportation Master Plan will help Bruce County improve and build upon the existing trails network in the area.

You can offer your thoughts by visiting http://www.brucecounty.on.ca/trails-master-plan.

“Bruce County recognizes that a well-connected active transportation and recreational trail network will enable residents to make healthy choices, as well as attract tourism and economic growth to the County. We are eager to hear the public’s input and ideas, which will help us plan for the future,” says Bruce County Warden, Janice Jackson.
