Bruce County residents interested in running as a candidate in the 2022 Municipal or School Board Election can attend tonight's Election Hybrid Information Session. A free information session for Bruce County Municipalities is being provided virtually by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Information will be provided on a number of topics including: -roles and responsibilities of elected officials -staff and third party advertisers -eligibility rules -nomination process -campaign finances -compliance audit -voters' list and voting proxy -scrutineers -recounts and more resources -Voting Day
People should call today to register for the session, which runs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Bruce County Administration Building at 30 Park Street, in Walkerton, or people can attend through Microsoft teams, or they can call in.
