Midwestern Ontario under heat warning

Environment Canada is predicting a two-day heat event and there is now a heat warning in effect for most of the area.

Forecasters say the temperatures today and tomorrow will reach the low to mid 30s. There will be little relief from the heat at night with the morning lows only reaching the low 20s.

The hot and humid air will also mean deteriorating air quality that could put some people at risk.

Cooler temperatures are expected on Thursday.
