Bruce Power summer bus tours return

After two years, the Bruce Power Visitors' Centre is excited to open the doors of its newly-renovated facility to the public.

Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice-President, Operational Services, James Scongack, says you can see it by attending their summer bus tours, which are back up and running.

"A really important thing for us is to have our doors open, so people can see our site and see our visitor's centre. Unfortunately, COVID hasn't afforded us that opportunity but we're thrilled to be resuming bus tours this year. We tend to get about ten thousand visitors a year."

There will be two bus tours a day in June, and three a day in July and August, all Monday-Friday.

Scognack says on average, they have about 10,000 visitors per year.

"We get people from all over the area. People who build it into their summer vacations who are tourists to the area, people who live in the area, even employees want to bring their loved ones to see what they do everyday. It's always very popular, but it does fill up quickly!"

Tour participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled tour so they can watch a welcome video and be screened by Bruce Power security officers.

To sign up for a tour, head to Bruce Power's website.
