Campaigning continues for leaders

With the provincial election campaign in full swing, the Ontario Liberal Party is expected to unveil its costed platform Monday.

Leader Steven Del Duca is expected to release detailed numbers in Toronto before moving on to North Bay.

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath is in Sudbury for a stop.

On Sunday, Horwath met with female candidates in the Waterloo region, highlighting her party's record on gender equality.

"I think it's an appropriate time to identify the fact that the NDP is the only party that has consistently for the last two elections, elected 50 per cent women to our caucus," said Horwath.

Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford doesn't have anything on the agenda for Monday after a stop in northern Ontario on Sunday.

Ford accused the Liberals of scrapping the Northlander rail service when they were in power and the NDP of supporting the move.

"All they do is criticize and all they do is complain and delay. Andrea Horwath is opposed to building absolutely anything. The NDP is happier protesting a road than building one," said Ford.

Ford was in Timmins.
