The Municipality of Bluewater is now turning to its residents for help in creating s Recreation Master Plan.
Facilities Manager Maggie Off says the survey they've launched is an online survey and it's available on the Municipality of Bluewater website.
There are also paper copies of the survey available.
Off says it only takes about eight minutes to fill out the survey and the deadline is set for May 18th.
There will also be phone calls made to at least 200 randomly selected households.
"Oraclepoll Research, they're conducting the telephone survey, so if you receive a call about a recreation master plan survey, don't hang up, it's not a scam, you'll be providing us with excellent information to help put together the recreation master plan,” said Off.
Off says they're hoping to find out how every household uses their parks and recreational facilities.
She says they also want to find out what participation is like in programs and activities, both within Bluewater and outside of the community.
There are also opportunities to ask questions or submit ideas right up until the master plan is completed this fall and that can be done by going to the municipal website and submitting ideas through the the Community Consultation Hub.
