One person is facing charges following an incident in Central Huron earlier this week that saw a young person almost struck by a vehicle.
Huron County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a residence near Holmesville on the morning of Tuesday, April 5th.
Witnesses told officers that a motorist nearly drove into a young toddler outside of a home on Orchard Line before colliding with a parked motorcycle, and then drove away from the scene.
Police say they later located the driver, a 52-year-old Cambridge resident, and have charged her with dangerous operation, failure to stop after an accident, and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
The accused has been released from custody and has a court appearance scheduled for May 30th in Goderich.
