More workers will be needed at company's operations in Teeswater

A company in Teeswater will be looking for some more workers.

Kinectrics, which provides laundry services to Bruce Power for their protective equipment, will be launching a recruitment campaign in the near future.

Nancy MacDonald-Excel is Kinectrics CFO.

"We are expanding, there is a lot more work coming out of Bruce Power for the laundry facility, and also to purchase more of the plastic suits, so we are going to be launching a recruitment campaign to get more people up to the red and blue buildings," stated MacDonald-Excel.

The work load is expected to increase by May 1st.

"But we have to keep the plant running and we will be moving, hopefully we get more business from Ontario Power Generation as well as Bruce Power, we'll be going to 24/7," explained MacDonald-Excel.

The company is planning to use various means to attract applicants.

"So our HR department will be having a job fair and using Facebook and other electronic medias to get the word out that we are looking for good people."

Kinectrics set up shop in Teeswater in 2019.
