Some mask mandates lifted to start the week

Masks are no longer required in most indoor public settings.

That includes retail stores, schools, and child care settings.

In its most recent modelling update, Ontario's Science Advisory Table anticipates an increase in COVID transmission, hospitalizations, and ICU admissions.

The advisory table also noted that the COVID-19 wastewater signal is no longer declining and is rising slightly in many areas. It also notes that test positivity is also no longer declining.

The province's chief medical officer, Dr. Kieran Moore has said that everyone must consider their own risk when deciding whether to keep wearing a mask.

Mask mandates are still in place in some areas including health care settings. That includes hospitals, and long term care.
