UPDATE: Freezing rain warning in effect

Environment Canada has put a freezing rain warning into effect for parts of Grey, Huron, and Perth counties.

The areas could accumulate three to eight centimeters of snow on Sunday.

The snow will give way to freezing rain in the evening before changing to rain overnight.

Parts of Huron County, including Goderich and Bluewater, could also see strong wind gusts of 70 to 90 kilometers per hour starting Monday and lasting into Tuesday.

It's possible for there to be power outages due to the ice and wind.

"Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas." the weather agency warned in a release.

Highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots may become icy and dangerous.
