New specialists join Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is pleased to announce the recruitment of two Ophthalmologists who will provide expanded healthcare services local residents.

Dr. David Schulz completed his undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo, and Medical School at Western University. He completed his Ophthalmology Training at the Western University Ivey Eye Institute.

Dr. Mary Feng completed medical school and Ophthalmology residency at Western University, followed by a fellowship in Oculoplastics and Ocular Oncology at the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology in Glasgow, UK.

“Continually strengthening needed services across our region is a top priority for the HPHA,” say Andrew Williams, President & CEO. “Improving access and wait times for our Clinton Public Hospital’s cataract program is a big part of this and we are very excited to welcome Drs. Schulz and Feng.”

“I am very excited to have just opened up a new clinic in Huron Perth,” says Dr. Schulz. “There is a lot of opportunity to grow the Ophthalmology program in this area and I look forward to what the future brings.”

Both Drs. Schulz and Feng say they are looking forward to providing comprehensive medical and surgical eye care to Huron and Perth Counties. Services include cataract surgery, intravitreal injections, and oculoplastic procedures, among other Ophthalmology care.
